Dr. Veronica Arteaga is an Associate Member in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology.Dr. Arteaga earned her MD from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. She completed a Radiology Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and subsequently completed a Thoracic Imaging Fellowship and a Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining Moffitt, Dr. Arteaga was an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, Section Chief of Cardiothoracic Radiology, and Cardiothoracic Radiology Fellowship Director, Department of Medical Imaging, University of Arizona Health Science Center. Dr. Arteaga’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiothoracic disease through medical imaging, including chest radiography, CT and MRI, particularly interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, lung nodules and manifestations of thoracic malignancy, thoracic infections and cardiovascular disease.
